MADURAI: Works for erecting a life-size statue of renowned playback singer late T.M.Soundararajan at Munichalai in Madurai are going on in full swing.
On July 5th 2023, Tamil Nadu PWD Minister Mr.E.V.Velu had personally inspected the place where the TMS statue is going be erected soon. A life size bronze statue of TMS is being installed by the government at a cost of Rs.50 lakhs inside the old corporation zonal office in Munichalai near Dinamani theatre.
Senior IAS officer and Principal Secretary of PWD Dr.B.Chandramohan, Madurai Mayor Ms.Indirani Ponvasanth, Corporation Commissioner Mr.K.J.Praveen Kumar and MLAs were among those who were present during the inspection here today morning- on 5th July 2023.
