MADURAI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) program to be offered through distance education mode from this academic year 2023-24, after having obtained required approvals for ODL mode. It is being launched from July 2023 session.
Admissions for the BBA course have started and this is a three years BBA course that is open for students who have completed 10+2 and admissions are now going on, Dr.M.Shanmugham, Regional Director of IGNOU Madurai Regional Centre, told ‘LotusTimes’ media www.lotustimes.org in Madurai on June 24th 2023. The BBA course is in English and Hindi medium and the fee structure is Rs.30,000 totally for this 3 years course (Rs.10,000 per year), following semester mode.
The IGNOU Madurai Regional Centre covers 19 districts in Tamil Nadu and interested candidates can apply for joining BBA program through online portal only. “The BBA course of IGNOU is in distance learning mode. Contact classes will be held at Madurai, Tirunelveli, Tiruchi, Thanjavur, Coimbatore, Devakottai and Pollachi. There is a good demand for various courses being offered by IGNOU and to meet the present requirements, our university started BBA through distance education,” Dr.M.Shanmugam, IGNOU Regional Director of Madurai Regional Centre, has said here on June 24th 2023.
