MADURAI: The Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.K.J.Praveen Kumar had today inspected the implementation of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Breakfast Scheme for school children by making an inspection at Draupadi Ammal Corporation Primary School in Madurai today morning- on June 19th 2023.
A press release received from Madurai Corporation today has informed that there are totally 64 schools starting from elementary, middle level, high school and higher secondary level under the jurisdiction of Madurai corporation, and various schemes of Tamil Nadu government which are meant for school students are being implemented in all corporation schools in Madurai, from uniforms, textbooks etc.
The morning breakfast scheme which was announced by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr.M.K.Stalin is being implemented in 26 primary schools of Madurai Corporation in the city from Monday to Friday.
“To oversee the implementation of CM’s breakfast scheme for school children, the Corporation Commissioner Mr.K.J.Praveen Kumar had today visited Draupadiammal Corporation Primary School in Madurai in Corporation Zone-4 area and enquired about the list of breakfast items, quality etc and he also had breakfast along with the corporation school students, the press release added.
Among those who were present during this breakfast inspection include Madurai Corporation Zone 4 chairman Mukesh Sharma, chief engineer Mr.Ruban Suresh and City Health Officer Dr.Vinodh Kumar along with senior officials and teachers of Madurai Corporation.
