MADURAI: A Plus One student of Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School at K.Pudur in Madurai, V.Kishor Kumar of 11th Std ‘C’ section, had got selected for the national level Judo championship. He had participated in the Tamil Nadu State Cadet Judo Championship in 50-kg weight category held in Theni recently and won gold medal in Tamil Nadu State Cadet Judo Championship 2023-24, according to a press release received from the school here yesterday.
With this win, the Madurai student has got the chance to take part in the National Level Judo Championship to be held in Karnataka next month. “The school management of Al Ameen Higher Secondary School at K.Pudur in Madurai had congratulated and felicitated its plus one student Kishor Kumar for winning the gold medal in Theni and for getting selected for national level Judo championship,” the school management had informed in the press release here yesterday.
Mr.S.Sheik Nabi, Headmaster of Al Ameen Higher Secondary School at K.Pudur in Madurai and school administrators – Mohammed Adam and Mohammed Idris – were among those who had congratulated their school student for making it great in Judo.
