MADURAI: The strong bonding between a doctor and patient was clearly visible at the first anniversary of Dr.Madhavan’s Heart Centre in Madurai on June 3rd 2023. Heart patients who underwent treatment and recovered have profusely thanked senior interventional cardiologist Dr.A.Mathavan from the bottom of their heart and greeted the heart centre founded by him a year ago.
There was a complete celebration mood among doctors, technicians and nursing staff of this heart centre yesterday while special invitees for the first year anniversary function have recalled the significant life-saving contributions made by Dr.A.Mathavan as a senior cardiologist and how he saved several lives of people in southern districts of Tamil Nadu for the past three decades. The crucial role being played Active Heart Foundation (AHF) in Madurai region was also commended because of how trained personnel become life-savers during cardiac emergencies.

A few patients who were treated by Dr.A.Mathavan have narrated how their lives and families were saved by him and the medical cum emotional support that they got for recovery. People came from various places for the first anniversary celebration of well-equipped Dr.Madhavan’s Heart Centre situated at Pandikoil junction-Ring Road here (Mobile number 90952-11123).

Speaking to ‘Lotus Times’ during the 1st year anniversary celebrations event held in the hospital yesterday, the founder and managing director of Dr.Madhavan’s Heart Centre Dr.A.Mathavan (chief interventional cardiologist) has had derived lot of strength and support from his old patients. “What we took up is a major venture, I wanted to create a state-of-the-art facility in heart care with all cardiac treatment infrastructure. Patient satisfaction, quality treatment, ambience, following international standards and personal care of every patient were some of the key aspects we are following here. We are happy that one year has been successfully completed. T thank all our staff for this,” Dr.Mathavan has said at the first anniversary celebration on June 3rd 2023.
