MADURAI: The 5th Graduation Ceremony of Velammal Medical College Hospital and Research Institute in Madurai took place at Velammal campus here on June 2nd 2023.
Dr.V.Pugalagiri Vadamalayan, Chairman and Managing Director of Vadamalayan Hospitals, was the chief guest for this ceremony and he delivered the graduation day address. In today’s graduation day ceremony, 152 candidates were presented with MBBS degrees and graduation certificates. Dr.M.J.Arunkumar, Chairman and Managing Director of Hannah Joseph Hospital in Madurai, was the guest of honour. Mr.M.V.Muthuramalingam, Chairman, Velammal Educational Trust, had presided over the graduation ceremony today.
Dr.T.Thirunavukkarasu, Dean, Velammal Medical College, delivered the welcome address and presented the annual report. Declaration of Geneva oath was taken by MBBS graduates and it was read out by Prof.Dr.Virgin Joena.
Dr.S.C.Ganesh Prabhu, Medical Superintendent of Velammal Medical College Hospital and Research Institute and Dr.B.G.Mahesh Krishna, vice-principal, were among those present along with all faculty members and Heads of Departments of Velammal Medical College at the graduation ceremony held in Madurai on June 2nd 2023.
