MADURAI: Well-known educationist, industrialist and philanthropist Karumuttu T.Kannan had passed away in Madurai today morning- on May 23rd 2023-Tuesday. He passed away at this residence in the morning today at 5 am, following a brief illness. He was 70 years.
Karumuttu T Kannan (70) was the ‘Thakkar’ (Fit Person) of Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Madurai. The last rites will be performed tomorrow at 2 pm at Kochadai. He was chairman of Thiagarajar Mills and correspondent of the reputed Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) in Madurai.
