MADURAI: The new District Collector of Madurai district M.S.Sangeetha has assumed charge here on May 22nd 2023. She took charge and joined duty at the District Collectorate in Madurai today morning. Prior to this, she was Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Admin) in Chennai.
Ms.Sangeetha came in the place of earlier district collector Dr.S.Aneesh Sekhar who has been posted as Managing Director of Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu (ELCOT) in the reshuffle of IAS officers and transfers of district collectors of various districts in the State by the government last week.
