MADURAI: The IRCTC South Zone has launched an exclusive ‘Bharat Gaurav tourist train’ to take tourist and devotees on ‘Shirdi Sai Darshan’. It is a maiden run of exclusive Bharat Gaurav tourist train of IRCTC that is from 5th June to 12th June 2023, covering destinations related to Shirdi (Thriambakeshwar, Nashik, Shanisingnapur, Pandaripur-Mnathralayam).
Train journey is by 3 AC class and sleeper class, AC and NAC hotel accommodation-fresh up at destinations. AC and NAC road transfers as applicable and on-board/off-board South Indian vegetarian meals besides tour escort and train security along with 2 one litre drinking bottle per day and travel insurance are some of the features of this Shirdi tour, according to a press release received from the Southern Railway Madurai Division here today- on May 11th 2023. (The tour number is SZBG01).
This train consists of 3 three-tier AC coaches, 8 sleeper coaches, one pantry car and 2 power car with a total of 14 coaches.
Central and State government and PSU employees can avail LTC facility as per eligibility and their company norms in the AC train tours.
