MADURAI: A high mast lamp which was installed opposite to Tallakulam Perumal temple in Madurai in order to provide good lighting in that area was inaugurated by Madurai MP Mr.Su.Venkatesan on May 2nd 2023 in the presence of Corporation Commissioner Mr.Simranjeet Singh Kahlon.
This high mast lamp was erected near Tallakulam temple here ( in Ward number 31 in Zone 2) at a cost of Rs.5 lakhs which was provided from the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Fund, according to a press release received from Madurai Corporation yesterday.
The providing of high mast lamp will illuminate that area near Tallakulam temple in Madurai by providing very good lighting for public convenience and people coming to the temple. Among those who were present at the inauguration of the high mast lamp include MLAs Mr.Thalapathy and Mr.Bhoomonathan, corporation deputy mayor Mr.Nagarajan, zone chairperson Mrs.Saravana Buvaneswari, City Engineer Mr.Arasu, assistant commissioner Varalakshmi, corporation PRO Mr.Maheswaran and corporation councillor Murugan.
