MADURAI: Grievance redressal meeting of Madurai Corporation Zone-2 will take place at the corporation zonal office situated at Race Course Road in Madurai on April 11th 2023, Tuesday, from 10 am to 12.30 pm, a press release received from the corporation has informed. This special grievance rederssal camp meeting is being conducted to hear the grievances of people living in areas coming under Zone-2 jurisdiction and take steps to solve them for public convenience.
Corporation Mayor Ms.Indrani Ponvasanth and corporation commissioner Simranjeet Singh will be present at this camp along with senior officials and corporation staff. Residents of Madurai Corporation Zone-2- North and areas covering Ward 1 Vilangudi, ward 2 Karisalkulam, ward 15 Jawaharpuram, ward 20 Visalakshi Nagar, ward 21 Aruldosspuram, ward 22 Thathaneri main road, ward 23 Ayyanarkoil, ward 24 mmenakshipuram, ward 25 Bibikulam, ward 26 Narimedu, ward 27 Ahimsapuram, ward 28 Goripalayam, ward 31 Tallakulam, ward 32 Chinnachokkikulam, ward 33 K.K.Nagar, ward 34 Anna Nagar, ward 35 Saathamangalam ward 63 Fathima Nagar, ward 64 Pethaniapuram, ward 65 PPChavadi and ward 66 Kochadai.
The corporation press release has said that residents of zone-2 area can bring their grievances to the attention of corporation authorities about drinking water, underground drainage connection, house tax name change, new property tax, building plan approval, streetlights etc by giving representation about their specific grievance.
