MADURAI: The Women’s Forum of American College in Madurai had organized a one-day workshop on ‘Pebbles and Warli painting’ on March 15th 2023 in association with Kokuyo Camlin Ltd. Students from various departments of the college had participated in this workshop.
Mr.A.Arun Kumar, South Tamil Nadu Promotion Manager, Kokuyo Camlin Ltd and Mr.Ramkumar, junior artist from the company, had trained the participants by illustrating the skill of painting on pebbles and the nuances of Warli painting which is a tribal art method.
Dr.M.Davamani Christober, Principal and Secretary of American College, had distributed prizes to best performers in this workshop and felicitated the enthusiastic participants while college Bursar Dr.M.Beaula Ruby Kamalam distributed participation certificates.
Dr.M.Vathanaruba, Dean for Women Students of the college, had welcomed the guests and participants. Dr.D.Rachel Malini, Additional Dean for women students, proposed a vote of thanks.
