CHENNAI: Mr.Kaushal Kishore has assumed charge as the new Additional General Manager of Southern Railway on March 15th 2023.
Before taking over as Additional GM, he was working as Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) of North Frontier Railway and during that stint he had headed railway’s construction projects of capital connectivity of Meghalaya and Tripura, doubling and new line projects etc, a press release received from the Southern Railway has said.
Mr.Kaushal Kishore is an officer of 1986 batch of Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE). He graduated with B.Tech degree from G.B.Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Nainital and completed M.Tech from IIT Delhi.
He has a rich experience of 35 years in the Indian Railway and worked in several important positions at different places in the country. Mr.Kaushal Kishore too charge as Additional General Manager of Southern Railway on 15th March 2023 in the place of Mr.A.K.Dutta, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, who was holding additional charge till now as AGM after the posting of Mr.B.G.Mallya as General Manager of ICF in January 2023.
