TN Hotels Association wants ‘Goondas Act’ on those who force hotels shutdown for bandh; also Hotel owners support workers from North India

Tamil Nadu Hotels Association EC Meeting on 14th March 2023.

MADURAI: The Tamil Nadu Hotels Association had taken three important decisions at its State-level Executive Committee meeting held in Kodaikanal today- on March 14th 2023. Three decisions were taken and resolutions passed at the EC meeting today, according to an important press statement released from the Tamil Nadu Hotels Association.

The three resolutions passed by the hotels association and hotel owners in Tamil Nadu include demanding imposing of GOONDAS ACT against those who will force the hotels and restaurants and eateries to keep shut or close down on the days of ‘Bandh’ and also wanted stringent action of taking the step of Goondas Act on those persons who attack the hotel owners in Tamil Nadu and create violence in hotels. These demands were passed at the EC meeting today urging the authorities and government officials to take action.

The Tamil Nadu Hotels Association also came in support of the guest workers/ migrant workers who are working in hotels and eateries and restaurants in Tamil Nadu, and the hoteliers associations had urged for action against those who are spreading FAKE NEWS against migrant workers from North India.

Among those who spoke at the State level EC meeting of Tamil Nadu Hotels Association held at Kodaikanal include Mr.Venkata Subbu, association Secretary Mr.Srinivasan, vice-president Mr.’Temple City’ Kumar and others who supported the various issues raised for the safety and welfare of functioning of hotels in Tamil Nadu.
