AIR QUALITY MONITORING:
The teaching staff and engineering students of Sethu Institute of Technology are being constantly involved in evolving innovation and technology incubation ideas. One example is the ‘Air Quality Monitoring’ device system that helps to record the concentration levels of atmospheric pollutants in order to define air quality levels and establish action plans if high levels of contamination are detected and air quality getting affected.
“We have developed this IOT-based AIR QUALITY MONITORING SYSTEM project, and this is very helpful for places in mining, truck drivers-industrial gas hazards etc. Our next step will be to go for getting the required permission for marketing registration and make our product available for air quality monitoring,” said the staff who were at the Sethu Institute of Technology stall in Madurai’s Gandhi Museum on February 26th 2023- Sunday- where an education-career guidance fair was conducted by a media organization.
