MADURAI: A large number of people including several foreign tourists have paid tributes to Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 75th death anniversary today – on 30th January 2023- at Gandhi Memorial Museum in Madurai. Floral tributes were paid at the Gandhiji statue in museum premises.
Among those who paid tributes were Mr.K.R.Nanda Rao, secretary of Gandhi Museum in Madurai, Mr.M.Senthilkumar, museum treasurer, Muthulakshmi of Gandhian School of Thought and Mr.Nellai Balu, founder of Bharati Yuva Kendra and tourists from Italy, Japan etc. Public awareness initiatives and leprosy eradication program were done today to mark the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
