‘Nava Jyotirlinga Darshan’ special train from Madurai on March 3rd 2023; Covers Ujjain, Somnath, Nasik etc

MADURAI: For the convenience of those who want to go on a pilgrimage tour, the IRCTC is operating a special tourist train from Madurai. The train is named ‘Nava Jyothirlinga Darshan Tourist train’ and it will start from Madurai on March 3rd 2023 and return on March 15th after taking the tourist passengers to the famous Ujjain on March 5th and later to Narmada river tmeple darshan, to Somnath temple, and on March 9th to Nasik Thrayambakeswarar temple, on March 10th Bheen Sankara swamy temple, and on March 11th to Aurangabad and March 14th to Srisailam temple.

A press release received from the Southern Railway Madurai Division here today has said that the tourist train will be back in Madurai on 15th March 2023. The total fare is Rs.23,400 per person and it covers train fare, food, accommodation and local transport. For the three-tier air-conditioned coach, additional Rs.7,100 has to be paid per passenger.
