Vaigai Express to stop at SRIRANGAM from Jan 1st to 3rd 2023 for ‘Vaikunta Ekadasi’ for two minutes

MADURAI: For the convenience of devotees, pilgrims and passengers, the Vaigai Express train from Chennai-Madurai-Chennai will stop at Srirangam railway station from January 1st to January 3rd 2023 in view of the ‘Vaikunta Ekadasi’ festival celebrations. (Train numbers 12636 and 12635).

The Southern Railway had given a halt to the Vaigai superfast Express train at the famous Srirangam- near Tiruchi- because there will be a huge number of devotees who will throng the the famous Srirangam temple in Tiruchi for ‘Vaikunta Ekadasi’ festivities and to have a darshan of the Lord at the Srirangam temple, a press release received from the Madurai Division of Southern Railway had informed here today.

Also, the Kollam-Chennai-Kollam express speed train (train number 16101 and 16102) will halt and stop at the Srirangam railway station Tiruchi for TWO MINUTES.
