MADURAI: The Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) here is all set to start soon six months free residential coaching for UPSC Civil Service examination to 100 candidates who are aspiring for civil services. This special coaching is being given as a special initiative of All India Civil Service Coaching Centre-Chennai-Tamil Nadu government-Anna Institute of Management, and this coaching program is being monitored by Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary Dr.V.Irai Anbu and team.
On 2nd December 2022, a meeting was held to discuss the preparations for this UPSC civil service exam coaching programme. MKU Vice-Chancellor Prof.J.Kumar had presided over this meeting which was attended by Madurai District Collector Dr.S.Aneesh Sekhar, university Syndicate member Prof.S.Nagarathinam and Dr.D.Thangarjan, Principal, All India Civil Services Coaching Centre besides university Registrar M.Sivakumar and senior faculty members Prof.V.S.Vasantha and D.Ramakrishnan.
A press release received from MKU here yesterday has informed that the students who will undergo this six months residential coaching for UPSC Civil Service exam 2023 will be provided required coaching support. In the MKU campus, separate accommodation will be freely provided to male and female candidates.
