MADURAI: The 29th annual conference of MOGS (Madurai Obstetrics and Gynecological Society) took place in Madurai for three days, from November 25th to 27th, with eminent doctors from various places coming together to discuss and deliberate on vital issues related to women in the field of gynecology.
Madurai Corporation Mayor Indirani Ponvasanth was the chief guest for the inaugural function of 29th MOGS annual conference while Dr.A.Rathinavelu, Dean, Madurai Medical College, was the guest of honour. Among those who addressed the delegates include MOGS president, Dr.P.Jothi Sundaram, past vice-president of FOGSI Dr.Revathy Janakiraman and Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Dr.N.Sumathi.
Dr.B.Kalpana, secretary, Madurai Obstetrics and Gynecological Society (MOGS), presented the secretary’s report while MOGS treasurer Dr.C.Durga Devi had proposed a vote of thanks at the inaugural function of 29th MOGS annual conference 2022, held in Madurai on 26th November 2022.
