MADURAI: At the end of four rounds of academic counselling for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2022 (TNEA 2022 excluding vocational and government 7.5 per cent quota), Career Guidance expert and career consultant Mr.Jayaprakash Gandhi has given his complete analysis on 13th November 2022 by informing that 55,846 engineering seats are still vacant in Tamil Nadu at the end of academic counselling this academic year 2022-23.
“Out of 1,39,251 engineering seats in Tamil Nadu’s engineering colleges, the number of seats filled is 83,405 which is 59.90 per cent. In comparison to last year, there is not much difference, but 55,846 seats are still vacant right now as per the counselling data. This year, 14 engineering colleges couldn’t fill even a single seat while last year it was seven colleges,” Mr.Jayaprakash Gandhi has said in his analysis of the TNEA 2022 counselling process on November 13th 2022, after the fourth round of counselling got over, and he had made some important appeals to Anna University based on counselling data.
