MADURAI: Mr.A.K.Siddhartha, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer of Southern Railway, had today (on 13th September 2022) had carried out statutory inspection of the newly electrified Dindigul-Palani railway line. Since the electrification works have been fully completed in this section, Mr.Siddartha inspected the stretch on Tuesday morning. He was accompanied by Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) Mr.T.Ramesh Babu and senior railway officials from the Madurai Division of Southern Railway.
TRIAL RUN of train was scheduled after 2 pm in this electrified Dindigul-Palani stretch. Mr.A.K.Siddartha had inspected electrical works connected to electrification of railway section between Dindigul and Palani, a press release from Southern Railway Madurai Division had informed today afternoon after the morning inspection. (This railway line gets gets energized with 25,000 volts of electricity and it is all set for electrical traction).
Senior officials of Southern Railway including Mr.Sameer Dihe, Mr.Sunil and Mr.Surendran were present during this inspection on September 13th 2022 that covered Dindigul, Oddanchanthram, Chatrapatti and Palani.
