MADURAI: An appeal was made to the Tamil Nadu State government to intervene immediately and set right the state of affairs in the Nadar Mahajana Sangam S.Vellaichamy Nadar College at Nagamalai Pudukottai in Madurai because of the alleged violations being committed by the present college management led by its secretary Mr.AMSG Ashokan.
“There is a huge corruption that took place in this college for appointment of teaching and non-teaching staff. This is for aided courses, that are regular courses funded by the State government. Already there are protests going on by various associations on collection of excess fees from students for government aided courses. A legal battle is going on for issues in this college. But, it is high time that the Tamil Nadu State government intervene because the college Secretary Mr.Ashokan is misusing his political position and spoiling this college with his political influence,” Mr.Perrys Mahendravel, former secretary of S.Vellaichamy Nadar College, has alleged while speaking to the ‘LotusTimes’ website www.lotustimes.org today- on 26th August 2022.

Mr.Ashokan (CONGRESS MLA) is misusing his position as college Secretary. Contractors are playing a big role in this corruption. We are confident that the Court will set right things in Vellaichamy Nadar College,” Mr.Mahendravel said.
