IGNOU good news: Starts Multiple Entry and Multiple Exit for UG courses for students’ admissions July 2022

MADURAI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has decided to implement Multiple Entry and Multiple Exit facility for students who are joining UG progrms with effect from July 2022 for admission cycle in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Computer Applications.

Dr.M.Shanmugham, Regional Director of IGNOU Madurai Regional Centre, told ‘LotusTimes’ www.lotustimes.org English news website here today that a notification was issued by the IGNOU Headquarters on 24th July 2022 that this Multiple Entry and Multiple Exit facility for IGNOU programmes was taken based on the recommendations of a special committee and the Madurai Regional Centre will follow it immediately from July 2022 admission cycle.

“There will be a greater flexibility for students. The new National Educational Policy is focused on students’ advantage and convenience. Till ow there is no clear cut policy guidelines for this. But today we received a notification from our IGNOU headquarters in Delhi. This will be a boon for UG students,” Dr.M.Shanmugam has said today.
