MADURAI: The 75th Independence Day celebrations is a turning point for India thanks to Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi who made the hoisting of national flag as a national movement through a mass campaign across the country, Mr.R.B.Udayakumar, MLA and Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Tamil Nadu Assembly, has said in Madurai on 15th August 2022.
“Today on this independence day, we are all feeling proud as Indians. The pride of India is seen everywhere, there is a very high impact on our patriotism levels this year from our country’s borders to a small thatched house in remote villages. The Prime Minister Mr.Modi’s call for hoisting our national flag on every house is certainly a landmark moment and a turning point for India for making India a developed country,” the AIADMK senior leader and former Minister Mr.Udayakumar had stressed.
He spoke at the ‘Seva Ratna’ awards distribution function in Madurai which was organized by Bharathi Yuva Kendra here on August 15th 2022 to mark ‘India 75 Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations. Seva Ratna awards were presented to 25 persons from different fields in recognition of their contribution and service in their respective fields.
Mr.R.B.Udayakumar had appreciated the continuous public service and social work being done by Bharathi Yuva Kendra founder Mr.Nellai Balu through various events and by presenting awards to deserving persons every year.
Noted author and publisher Mr.Lena Tamilvanan has called upon the people to always remember that the Indian family system is the best in the world. He also said that negative thinking should be thrown out and it is time for every Indian to inculcate positive thinking.
