MADURAI: The 76th Independence Day celebrations took place in a very colourful manner in Madurai with District Collector Dr.Aneesh Sekhar unfurling the national flag at the Armed Reserve Ground in Madurai today- 15th August 2022 and witnessing various cultural events held to mark the occasion. He distributed welfare assistance to the tune of Rs.67 lakhs on behalf of 15 departments to totally 40 beneficiaries. Also 250 persons were felicitated at the I-Day function here today.
