MADURAI: A career orientation program was organized for the Department of Computer Science students by the Lady Doak College (LDC) in Madurai on August 6th 2022 in association with ICT Academy and Honeywell. This program was conducted in collaboration with the career guidance and placement cell and Computer Science Department of LDC, a press release received from the college today has informed.
Around 100 students participated in the career orientation program. Ms.Karthika, senior engineering manager and Mrs.Rathina Krishnamoorthy, engineering program manager-Honeywell Technology Solutions- spoke on the importance of equipping the students with industry-ready skills. Dr.N.Jayachandra motivated the students to grab the opportunities by equipping themselves with needed industry skills. Technical guidance, soft skills and how to face industrial challenges, were highlighted in the sessions in this program. Dr.Lt.Sangara Nachiar welcomed the gathering at today’s career orientation and guidance program in the college- on 6th August 2022.
