MADURAI: Dr.V.Sridhar, senior cardiothoracic Vascular surgeon, Apollo Speciality Hospitals-Madurai, has given a heart education message from Madurai on 22nd July 2022 that heart attack patients should go for a bypass surgery instead of going in for Stent. The results of bypass surgery are far superior and the Madurai Apollo Hospital has successfully done a newer technique to reduce pain / it introduced endo vascular vein and radial artery harvesting for nearly 500 heart attack cases in the last two years. Top cardiac expert Dr.Sridhar told reporters at a press conference in Madurai that those who undergo the NEWER bypass surgery procedure had very good surgery results which were proved by multiple trials across various countries, compared to stents.
