MADURAI: The Lady Doak College in Madurai has taken an active part by making the right moves for the upcoming 44th Chess Olympiad Chennai 2022, by organizing student focused programs such as inter-collegiate level quiz competition by the the college’s Department of Physical Education and Quiz Club here on 21st July 2022. Madurai District Collector Dr.S.Aneesh Sekhar, Mr.Simranjeet Singh Kahlon, Madurai Corporation Commissioner, Madurai Mayor Mrs.V.Indrani Ponvasanth, Joint Director of Collegiate Education for Madurai Region Dr.P.Ponmuthuramalingam and Dr.Christianna Singh, Principal and Secretary of Lady Doak College in Madurai, were among those who were invited to motivate the students towards Chess Olympiad, along with Dr.K.Raja, District Sports and Youth Welfare Officer-SDAT Madurai and Mrs.J.Beulah Jane Susila, Regional Senior Manager-SDAT Madurai.
