MADURAI: Dr.P.T.R.Palanivel Thiagarajan, Tamil Nadu’s Minister of Finance and HR Management, had visited the Defence Services Staff College at Wellington in the Nilgiris district in Tamil Nadu, on 1st and 2nd July 2022. He addressed the college on ‘States as a growth engine towards India becoming a 5 trillion Dollar economy- Challenges and Opportunities’.
He had interacted with the officers of DSSC and emphasized on the changing scenario of modern warfare and integrated application of forces in multi-domain operations over the entire spectrum of conflict, and Minister Mr.PTR had exhorted the college to continue its excellent performance and make the country proud, according to a press release received here today.
Lt.Gen.S.Mohan, Commandant, Defence Services Staff College-Wellington, conducted the Tamil Nadu Finance Minister and briefed him on the training activities being conducted in the college. The Defence Services Staff College is the oldest and amongst the premier Tri Services training institutions of India where 500 middle level officers of the army, navy and airforce including 50 international officers from various countries are trained to shoulder higher level appointments in their respective countries.
