Women’s Day 2022 celebrated at M.S.Chellamuthu Trust in Madurai, award presented

MADURAI: International Women’s Day 2022 was celebrated in a fitting manner at a special function organised by M.S.Chellamuthu Trust and Research Foundation and Subitcham in Madurai on March 8th with their committed focus for promoting mental health and family fellowship for the mentally challenged.

Dr.R.Sujatha, Principal, Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science-Madurai, was the chief guest. International Women’s Day Award 2022 was presented to Mrs.K.Srividhya, waste management consultant. Mrs.R.Rajkumari, Executive Director, M.S.Chellamuthu Trust and Research Foundation, in her special address highlighted the role of women in any success and the importance of women.

Motivational speaker Mrs.S.Bharathy Sathyanarayanan, Mrs.Latha Gurubharathy, Director (administration), MSCT&RF, Dr.Janet Shankar, Director-counselling services and N.M.H.Kalaivani, president, Subithcham (family and fellowship), were among those who were invited to offer felicitations.

Mr.K.S.P.J.Babu, Director (programmes), M.S.Chellamuthu Trust and Research Foundation, welcomed the gathering spoke about the importance of women’s day.

The M.S.Chellamuthu Trust and Research Foundation has been working to empower women with mental disability, and it is recognizing women activists, medical professionals, journalists and entrepreneurs who are working to bring changes in the life of women with mental disabilities every year. This year’s award was given to waste management consultant Mrs.K.Srividhya, Madurai.
