MADURAI: A 165-page autobiography of jasmine king Dr.S.Nagarathinam, who bloomed with success step by step in his life through sheer hard work and determination, was released at a function held in Madurai on 12th February 2022 in the presence of people from various walks of life.
The success story autobiography titled ‘The Story of My Life- Malligai Chakravarthi Dr.S.Nagarathinam’ was released by Tamil Nadu Industries Minister Mr.Thangam Thennarasu and the first copy was received by Madurai MP Mr.Su.Venkatesan. In this book written in Tamil, the 85-year-old writer gave a self-written account of his life and sent out a message for the young generation on how perseverance paves way to success.
“Dr.S.Nagarathinam’s life is an inspiration. His success in jasmine flowers is not just a business. It is a livelihood for many farmers and jasmine growers. It is a hybrid activity by this great 85-year-old personality who made a mark in agriculture, jasmine flowers etc. Moreover, it is a great point to be remembered that his family has been a joint family for four generations. My father Thangapandian had a close association with him,” Industries Minister Mr.Thangam Thennarasu has said after releasing the autobiography.
Former Revenue Minister MLA Mr.R.B.Udhayakumar, BJP State general secretary Prof.R.Srinivasan and Mailam Bommapura Adheenam Sivasri Sivagnana Swamigal, were among those who addressed the gathering and spoke on how Dr.S.Nagarathinam made his mark in jasmine business, how he maintained simplicity, family values, business values, ethics and how he made an inspiring success journey coming from a simple ordinary family. Senior journalist and author Mr.Thirumalai gave a crisp book review.
Mr.N.Jegatheesan, president, Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and son of Mr.S.Nagarathinam, welcomed the gathering. “My father is a very hardworking, simple and spiritual person. He always carry a positive approach and that is very inspiring for us in the family. We are a joint family for the past four generations,” Mr.Jegatheesan said.
