TN BJP leader meets Union Minister V.K.Singh; makes a plea for Palani temple ‘padayatra’ devotees

MADURAI: Tamil Nadu BJP State general secretary and a senior party leader from Madurai Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan had met Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Mr.V.K.Singh in New Delhi today- on 20th December 2021 and made an important plea to him on behalf of devotees of the famous Palani temple. The requirement of a good pathway-walkway for the Palani ‘padayatra’ devotees going to the temple by road walk between Kamalapuram in Dindigul distirct and Pollachi was taken to the attention of Union Minister Mr.V.K.Singh during this meeting.

Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan had requested the Union Minister to take steps for providing all required amenities and facilities for pilgrims who go to the Palani Murugan temple by walk and especially a safe pathway pavement walking for devotees to reach the temple. The BJP leader from Tamil Nadu also to speed up the Outer Ring Road works going on in the stretch from Vadipatti to Thamaraipatti.

According to Prof.Dr.Srinivasan, the Union Minister had given a patient hearing to all the requests made in this meeting and assured that he will take action on the points raised today. The current political situation in Tamil Nadu, the latest political issues in the State and BJP’s attempts to increase its base in Tamil Nadu were taken to the attention of Union Minister of State Mr.V.K.Singh, who was the party’s elections in-charge during Assembly elections held in Tamil Nadu.
