CHENNAI Mahaparinirvan Diwas, the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, was observed today, 6th December 2021. At a solemn function organized at the Southern Railway Headquarters Office in Chennai, Mr.John Thomas, General Manager, Southern Railway, had paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
Speaking at the function, the General Manager highlighted the illustrious contribution of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar to the making of our Constitution and development of social harmony in our country. He also exuded the participants to follow the teachings of Dr. Ambedkar.
Mr. B.G.Mallya, Additional General Manager, Senior railway officers, staff and members of recognized trade union also paid homage to the great leader.
