2,102 applied for MKU’s online common entrance test for Ph.D; 388 for M.Phil admission

MADURAI: The Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) here is all set to conduct the online Common Entrance Test on 10th October 2021 for admission to Ph.D and M.Phil programmes for 2021-22 as per the University Grants Commission guidelines. Totally 2,490 aspirants have applied for the online common entrance test (2,102 for Ph.D and 388 applied for M.Phil entrance test). The entrance examination is scheduled on 10th October 2021 from 9 am to 11 am, according to a press release issued by MKU Registrar In-Charge Prof.Dr.V.S.Vasantha here today. Examination schedule and venue details are available on MKU website www.mkuniversity.ac.in.

Out of the total number of aspirants, 263 candidates are from other States and five are from abroad, she said in the press release on 8th October 2021. Hall-tickets are mailed to the applicants to their registered e-mail ID.

In Tamil Nadu, the online common entrance test of MKU for M.Phil and Ph.D admission is being conducted at Chennai, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchi, Tirunelveli, Virudhunagar and Thoothukudi. Test is also conducted in Kerala and Karnataka. Remote proctored online test is conducted for candidates on other States and abroad due to COVID-19 restrictions in several States, Prof.Dr.V.S.Vasantha had informed in the press statement here today.
