MADURAI: A top class higher education institution in India- the Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) in Madurai- is having all its important key posts for academic and varsity administration lying vacant for many months now. University sources on 26th June 2021 had informed ‘Lotus Times’ news website from Madurai that the MKU is running on in-charge basis now and needs the intervention of State / Central governments immediately because the MKU in Madurai has been struggling to find full-time persons, because the university has NO CONTROLLER, NO DEAN (CDC), NO DDE, NO ADDL CONTROLLER, NO REGISTRAR, NO DIRECTOR FOR ACADEMIC STAFF COLLEGE, NO EMRC Head etc.. “There is only Vice-Chancellor now for MKU now. All the top posts are run on in-charge basis and it is a shame for us,” a senior faculty in Madurai had expressed concern while speaking to ‘Lotus Times’ in Madurai on 26th June 2021.
MKU has no Dean, no Controller, no DDE, no Addl Controller, no Registrar, no EMRC head etc……
