MADURAI: A public appeal was made to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr.M.K.Stalin from Madurai to provide Corona relief assistance to those staff of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) who stood as frontline workers during the entire COVID-19 pandemic Corona lockdown period for the last more than one year.
A representation ONLINE petition was filed and sent to the Tamil Nadu CM’s Special Cell on 17th June 2021, in this regard seeking the intervention of CM Mr.M.K.Stalin. The grievance main category is in CM Public Relief Fund, petition sent by Mr.S.Ahamed from Easy Street- Thondi-Thiruvadani-Thondi-Ramanathapuram.
Mr.C.M.Syed Babu, Member of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee, has been making an appeal from Madurai for the last one week through his public appeal to Chief Minister Mr.M.K.Stalin to help the electricity workers also since they stood in tough Corona time. “From Madurai also, we are appealing to the CM. Please give COVID relief fund assistance to TNEB staff who worked as frontline workers in this Corona pandemic lockdown period…..We request the Tamil Nadu Government to provide help to electricity workers too treating them as frontline warriors agaisnt COVID like the doctors, nurses, police etc. Please give them assistance from CM Public Relief Fund,” the Congress party office-bearer from Madurai Mr.Syed Babu has urged Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr.M.K.Stalin through his petitions and appeals from 9th June 2021.
