MADURAI: Wholesale flower market in Madurai, which is situated at Mattuthavani here, is temporarily shifted to Omni Bustand from 2nd June 2021. This was decided today following a meeting between wholesale flower merchants association office-bearers and officials, in the wake of Corona cases prevention and lockdown.
A press release from association secretary Mr.Thoulath Basha here today has said that the wholesale flower market in Madurai is being temporarily shifted to Mattuthavani Omni Bus stand after a meeting with Commerical Taxes Minister Mr.P.Moorthy, monitoring officer Dr.B.Chandramohan, Madurai District Collector Mr.S.Aneesh Sekhar, Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan and others.
