MADURAI: The ‘World No Tobacco Day’ was observed by the Madurai Corporation here on 31st May 2021 with Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan administering a pledge for staff today.
He had administered a pledge for employees of Madurai Corporation to stress the health hazards of tobacco products. No smoking message, staying away from tobacco products and keeping the office premises as ‘No Tobacco premises’ were among the points highlighted. Among those present were Madurai Corporation officials including Mr.Chithravel and Mr.Mahendran.
