MADURAI: The Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Madurai on Friday- 28th May 2021- has donated 750 pulse oximeters and 300 infrared thermal scanners to be used for COVID care purpose in Madurai district. These were donated by the TN Chamber in association with Meenakshi Fan House and Chemists and Druggists Association, Madurai. (500 pulse oximeters and 200 thermal scanners to Madurai district administration; and 250 pulse oximeters / 100 thermal scanners to Madurai Corporation).
Dr.N.Jegatheesan, president, Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce, had handed over the oximeters and digital thermometers to Madurai District Collector Mr.S.Aneesh Sekhar and Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan in the presence of Minister for Commercial Taxes Mr.P.Moorthy and Madurai South constituency MLA Mr.M.Boominathan, here on 28th May 2021, according to a press release from the chamber here today.
