MADURAI: Anti-terrorism day pledge was administered for the staff of Madurai Corporation here today as 21st May is observed as Anti-Terrorism Day every year to observe the 30th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
on 21st May 2021 (Friday), Madurai Corporation Deputy Commissioner Mrs.Sangeetha had read out the pledge and administered pledge to the corporation employees at ‘Anna Maaligai’ corporation main headquarters building in Madurai. Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated by LTTE cadres in a suicide bomb attack on him on 21st May 1991.
