MADURAI: The special Oxygen Express which is carrying liquid medical oxygen in containers had arrived at Vadipatti station near Madurai today morning- on 21st May 2021- Friday. The Oxygen Express was loaded with five containers carrying 79.31 Metric Tonnes of LMO at Rourkela in Odisha and this oxygen express arrived at Vadipatti in Madurai district at around 10.45 am on 21st May 2021. With this, the total oxygen supplied/ delivered for Tamil Nadu is 728.71 Metric Tonnes, according to information received from the Madurai Division of Southern Railway here on Friday.
This was the 13th loaded oxygen express for Tamil Nadu. Liquid medical oxygen is being supplied for southern districts of the State. The containers tankers are being sent to hospitals to supply medical oxygen.
