MADURAI: The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Tamil Nadu today at 8,449 on 16th April 2021 as the Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of Tamil Nadu had confirmed 8,449 new Corona positive cases in a single day, according to the media bulletin released by public health authorities today evening. The media bulletin on 16th April 2021 evening has said that there were totally 33 deaths because of Corona in the State today and the total number of active COVID-19 cases in Tamil Nadu as on April 16th 2021 is 61,593.
