Ram Navami spl train from Madurai on Apr 16th is cancelled

MADURAI: The scheduled special Tourist Train ‘RAM NAVAMI SPECIAL TRAIN- on 16th April 2021 from Madurai to various holy destination spots in north India has been cancelled because of Corona second wave spread in many States. THE TRAIN CANCELLED FROM MADURAI IS 383 B and the originally planned train is now cancelled because of the rapid rise of COVID infection cases in several States, according to a press release received from the Southern Railway Madurai Division here today- on 14th April 2021.

The IRCTC has planned to run a special train from Madurai for tourists and pilgrims from April 16th 2021 to connect them with important pilgrim places and temples of India. This proposed RAMNAVAMI SPECIAL TRAIN IS NOW CANCELLED by the IRCTC.

This special Bharat Darshan tourist train (11 days from 16th April and to return here on 26th April with a tour package rate of Rs.10,410 per person) from Madurai is scheduled to leave from Madurai on April 16th. To cover important tourist / holy/ pilgrim places including Puri Jaganath Temple in Odisha, Bodh Gaya, Varanasi Kasi temple, Ayodhya temple and Allahabad triveni sangamam etc, Mr.AP Sundararajan, Joint General Manager, had informed in a press statement issued here on 14th April 2021- Wednesday.
