MADURAI: The all important nationwide Pulse Polio Vaccination for children below five years of age in India will be held on 31st January 2021- SUNDAY- where polio vaccine polio drops will be administered to children up to five years of age at the special polio immunization camps.
A press release from Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan here today- on 27th January 2021- had informed that parents’ cooperation is very much essential and hence he had appealed to them to take their children up to five years of age to the Pulse Polio vaccination camps- in the nearby Corporation schools, ICDS centres- PHCs- Government hospitals etc. Polio free India has been a mission taken up in India to save children from polio virus infection.
