MADURAI: The ‘NAWAAB’ brand of Akshaya Ponni rice from Manchukonda Agrotech Private Limited has made a significant mark and achieved milestone in south Tamil Nadu. It has delivered over one lakh tonnes of rice to the people of south Tamil Nadu and became a preferred brand, first rice miller to produce/ provide/ supply quality boiled rice in Tamil Nadu (AKSHAYA PONNI boiled rice), Mr.Manchukonda Chakravarthy- CEO -Director, Manchukonda Agrotech Pvt Ltd, told reporters at a press conference held in Madurai today- on 5th January 2021.
NAWAAB BRAND PLANS:
Mr.Manchukonda Chakravarthy told mediapersons here in Madurai today that the company is supplying superior boiled rice and hence gained a significant market in Tamil Nadu’s southern districts. This rice miller has its milling plant in Raichur in Karnataka, it has advanced automated rice milling and processing technology, it utilizes SATAKE SORTEX machinery from Japan which packs only the finest grains.
“Manchukonda is now increasing its production capacity from 200 tonnes a day to 350 tonnes a day…….. and in just a few weeks from now Manchukonda will launch its NAWAAB brand in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu. Ours is a hi-tech paddy milling capacity in Raichur in Karnataka. Akshaya Ponni boiled rice is an emerging top brand in South India,” said Mr.Manchukonda Chakravarthy at the press conference conducted in Madurai on 5th January 2021.
The immediate future expansion plans include launch of new product range- pulses, sugar and Basmati rice. “The further growth of NAWAAB brand of Akshaya Ponni rice is going to happen……Akshaya Ponni rice is a rich source of Iron and Calcium. It is a healthier alternative………to white rice……Our rice is softer and nutritious because of our processing methodology at Manchukonda Agrotech Pvt Ltd,” Mr.Manchukonda Chakravarthy told reporters in Madurai on 5th January 2021.
