MADURAI: Officials and staff of Madurai district administration and Madurai Corporation are prepared for the official visit of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr.Edappadi K Palaniswami to Madurai city- to lay the foundation stone for drinking water projects- developmental- infrastructure projects- on 4th December 2020.
Madurai District Collector Mr.T.Anbalagan, Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan and senior officials held a review meeting in Madurai today- on 2nd December 2020- to oversee the arrangements- preparations for CM visit.
The drinking water supply for Madurai city will get a major boost with the launching of new project in December 2020. It will benefit all the 100 wards in Madurai city which has a population of approximately 17 lakh people.
Madurai Corporation City Engineer Mr.Arasu, Madurai district DRO Mrs.Senthilkumari and officials from Madurai district administration, government departments, Madurai Corporation etc were among those who attended the CM visit review meeting held in Madurai on 2nd December 2020, a press release from the Madurai Corporation here today informed about the CM’s inauguration of drinking water- infrastructure- amenities projects in Madurai city.
