MADURAI: The MLA of Madurai Central Assembly Constituency Mr.P.T.R.Palanivel Thiagarajan today inspected the Masi Streets in Madurai city and urged the Corporation authorities to complete the Underground Drainage and road works without delay and stop the hardships/ inconvenience faced by shopkeepers-traders-commuters and the public at large in that locality.
Information received on 24th September 2020 has said that Mr.PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan had visited North Masi Street and other Masi streets near the Meenakshi Temple area and surroundings where ‘Madurai Smart City’ infrastructure-construction works are now underway because he is very much concerned to expedite the works and prevent accidents.
The Madurai Central MLA had asked the Corporation officials to speed up the Smart City works, speed up the Underground Drainage works in Masi streets and to take steps for avoiding delay in execution of construction works in Masi streets in Madurai city because the local people, commuters and shopkeepers are facing difficulty especially during the present rainy times.
He also went to Ward 80 here in Madurai city today- Moorthy Street etc where he gauged the works going on now and he immediately appealed to the Madurai Corporation to complete the works fast.
