MADURAI: A special puja was performed in the premises of famous National Cooperative Sugar Mills at Alanganallur near Madurai on 10th September 2020 for the well-being, prosperity and good of employees working in the sugar mill, their families and for divine blessings to sugarcane farmers. The puja was organized praying for early relief to people from Corona pandemic, smooth and early start of sugarcane crushing season, for good livelihood of sugar mill workers and the cause of public good.
This special puja was done on behalf of Melmaruvathur Adhi Parasakthi Aanmeega Iyakkam- Madurai district- at Sri Durgai Amman Temple situated in the sugar mill premises at Alanganallur. Mrs.G.Senthilkumari, Managing Director, National Cooperative Sugar Mills Ltd, Alanganallur, Madurai district and Prof.Asokan, Madurai district president of Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Aanmeega Iyakkam, employees of the sugar mill, their family members were present at this special puja.
