MADURAI: Tamil Nadu Governor Mr.Banwarilal Purohit today took part in the Governors’ Conference on Role of National Education Policy-2020, which was addressed by President Mr.Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi. This was an interaction meeting addressed on 7th September 2020 by the President and Prime Minister through video-conferencing.
Mr.Narendra Modi had stressed that the National Education Policy-2020 focuses more on skill development among the students from school level because the policy gives importance to develop confidence and skills among India’s youth from educational institutions. Mr.Banwarilal Purohit interacted with the President and PM via video conferencing from Raj Bhavan in Chennai.
